WARRANTY & CLAIMS

SincereGear stands behind the transmissions we sell. If you experience an issue with your transmission, contact us as soon as possible so we can help diagnose the problem and determine the appropriate next step.

Do not remove, open, disassemble, repair, replace, or return the transmission without prior authorization from SincereGear.

Unauthorized repairs or disassembly may affect warranty coverage.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

SincereGear remanufactured transmissions include the warranty period stated on the product listing, order confirmation, or invoice.

Our warranty covers qualifying defects in the transmission supplied by SincereGear during the applicable warranty period.

If an approved warranty issue is confirmed, SincereGear may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the transmission
  • Replace the transmission
  • Supply replacement components
  • Provide another appropriate warranty resolution

Warranty approval is subject to inspection, diagnosis, installation verification, and the terms applicable to your purchase.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Proper installation is required for warranty coverage.

The installer is responsible for following the vehicle manufacturer's installation and service procedures, including all applicable:

  • Transmission fluid specifications
  • Fluid level procedures
  • Transmission cooler flushing or replacement
  • Cooler line cleaning
  • Programming
  • TCM/ECM initialization
  • CVT calibration
  • Clutch or shift adaptations
  • Relearn procedures
  • Diagnostic procedures

All required fluids, filters, seals, gaskets, programming, and related installation procedures must be completed correctly.

Keep your installation invoice, fluid receipts, diagnostic reports, programming records, and vehicle mileage documentation.

These documents may be requested during a warranty claim.

CVT TRANSMISSION REQUIREMENTS

CVT transmissions may require specific initialization, calibration, relearn, fluid-level, and programming procedures after installation.

Failure to complete the required procedures can cause symptoms such as:

  • Improper engagement
  • Reduced power
  • Incorrect ratio operation
  • Warning lights
  • Diagnostic trouble codes
  • Limp mode
  • Poor drivability

A transmission should not automatically be considered defective until required programming, calibration, fluid verification, and diagnostic procedures have been completed.
